This is a little Anna’s hummingbird visiting a pink lily that is larger than she is. Hummingbirds are so tiny and they usually only weigh 3 grams, which is less than an ounce and less than the weight of a nickel. It is so miraculous that something so minute can be such a marvel of engineering. I work with the pictures of them on my computer screen, and sometimes I forget just how small they are until I am outside looking at them.
Prints are available printed on metallic paper, canvas, or metal (aluminum).
