This is a California Poppy and the little visitor is an Allen’s hummingbird. Hummingbirds are so graceful and yet so powerful. The difference between Allen’s hummingbird and a Rufus hummingbird is that the Allen’s Hummingbird usually has more green on his back. It is extremely difficult to tell them apart. I can remember the exact moment I took this picture and I take a lot of pictures. That is what makes pictures so great. They capture a moment in time.

Prints are available printed on metallic paper, canvas, or metal (aluminum).
